Our Classes
Iyengar Yoga is for Everyone
At Sheffield Yoga Centre we believe that everyone is able to enjoy and benefit from Iyengar Yoga. No matter how old, stiff, out of shape, or time-restricted you are, you will be able to find a class from our varied timetable that is just right for you.
We have a diverse range of classes that are accessible both in-person at our beautiful Centre as well as online. There is something for every level of experience, ability and desire to learn.
You can pay on a drop-in basis or for a block of classes. We recommend booking for a block which not only works out cheaper, but helps us get to know and support you and your individual needs.
New Starters and Returners
A dedicated course teaching you the fundamentals of Iyengar yoga. The perfect starting point. Or, for those returning after a long break.
Level 1
A beginner-level class suitable for those new to Iyengar yoga. No experience needed.
Level 2
Building on the foundations of your Iyengar yoga experience.
Those with one year or more experience in Iyengar yoga move up to our level 2 classes.
Level 3
More intensive classes that are varied, dynamic and rewarding.
Those with three years’ experience or more - our most advanced class.
General Classes
Our general classes are suitable for students with an understanding of the basic standing poses and shoulder stand. Classes include more intensive, varied asanas and basic pranayama.
