Beginners Level 1

Open to All

A regular, one and a quarter hour class, which is open to all! A great starting point for those who are new to Iyengar Yoga or just yoga in general, each and every one of our Beginners classes focuses on developing your individual strength, stamina and balance in fundamental postures (asana). Often following a particular theme, each Beginners class will also introduce you to some basic breathing techniques of Pranayama.

Although we do recommend that you complete one of our dedicated New Starter Courses if you are completely new to yoga, you may be able to join one of our Beginners classes. Please get in touch if you would like further advice.

Suitable for: Beginners, those with some experience of other types of yoga and those who have had a break from yoga
