Our Annual Fundraising Evening in aid of Calcutta Rescue – the Indian charity that cares for street dwellers and the underprivelaged throughout Kolkata and Rural West Bengal – will this year form part of the Iyengar Yoga weekend with Zubin Zarthoshtimanesh. We hope that those of you who attend his workshops will be able to join us for another special and magical evening in our beautiful Yoga Centre!

As usual there will be some fantastic performances and events happening, including the Black Cat Theatre Company – Diana Bayliss’ extraordinary Indian Marionettes are not to be missed – and the beautiful Vrata Chigateri’s dance ensemble eARTHkala – Meaningful Art, who will be treating attendees with one of their stunning Kuchipudi dance performances. Prajyoti Madhusudan will also be running a fun Bollywood Dance session which promises to be enjoyable for all who attend.

We will also be providing delicious, home-made Indian snacks and refreshments throughout the evening, and for a small donation attendees can dress up in a traditional Indian Sari.

Tickets cost just £10 (including food and refreshments) for adults and £5 for children and concessions, and all profits will be donated to this worthy Indian charity. To reduce our impact on the environment we will be running an e-ticket system this year so to book your tickets contact the Yoga Centre Office on info@sheffieldyogacentre.co.uk
